Hello I'm Ron Hunnewell Owner and Founder of Florida Solar Report. I have experience working for a solar company that did in excess of 18 million dollars in sales for 2018. The fascinating thing is they were out of business by August of 2019. Although I love solar I left the company in January of 2019 because I felt the company was only focused on the next sale. Yes, they are in business to make money but the approach being used was and still is high-pressure sales techniques. I believe in transparency but the solar prices were so high the company couldn't afford to be transparent. Even the salespeople were withheld information that was important to know. The reason I know this is because I did the companies IT work so I got to know all the department heads and they would share with me important information the company would rather I not know? I have extensive solar training and have continued to learn a great deal more since then.
